The man can be seen throwing several punches towards fans before a rival supporter knocks him to the ground with one of his own.

Other fans were then dragged into the melee while the fan appeared to be kicked as he was on the floor.

The footage has gone viral on social media and emerged as three Watford players said they had been subjected to racist abuse online following the victory over Wolves.

The trip to Wembley ended in despair for Wolves who let a two-goal lead slip to lose 3-2 after extra time.

Striker Troy Deeney, who broke Wolves hearts with a last-gasp equaliser from the penalty spot, said he suffered racist abuse after posting a series of pictures on his Instagram account of his celebrations on the pitch and afterwards with family and friends.

The Metropolitan Police said five arrests were made at the game but did not confirm whether the man filmed brawling was among them.

In the footage, the man, who is wearing a Wolves shirt, appears to approach Watford fans at random, first shoving one in the throat before throwing a punch at the other.

After getting back to his feet, he continues to try to fight the rival fans before being dragged away from the crowd.

His actions were condemned by fans of various clubs, including Wolves.
