Police warning after spate of Shrewsbury burglaries

Police are warning residents in an area of Shrewsbury to be vigilant following a spate of daytime burglaries.

Shrewsbury Police said they received more reports of theft and burglary in Bayston Hill on Monday.

Officers have been called to a number of similar incidents over the last week.

They said an unknown offender or offenders is forcing entry via rear doors.

West Mercia Police is warning residents to lock their doors even when at home as the majority of these incidents have been in the daytime.
