Three injured in Whitchurch alleyway assault
Three people were injured in a suspected attack outside a Whitchurch pub in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Two men suffered facial injuries and one woman was pushed over during the assault, which happened shortly after midnight.
The woman, in her 40s, and the two men, in their 50s and 60s, needed hospital treatment after the incident in an alleyway next to the Last Orders pub.
A 22-year-old man from Stone was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and has since been released under investigation.
