£10,000 of mobile phones stolen in Telford retail park burglary

About £10,000 worth of mobile phones have been stolen in a break-in at a shop at a Telford retail park.

The burglary happened at a shop on Forge Retail Park, in Colliers Way, some time between 3am and 8am on Sunday.

West Mercia Police believe the offenders forced their way into the premises.

Police spokeswoman Laura Maltby said: "A quantity of mobile phones were removed.

"Inquiries are currently ongoing and officers would like anyone who was in the area or who witnessed people acting suspiciously at the time to come forward."
