Top award for Telford dealership

Furrows Kia Telford has started the year in celebration after landing a customer experience award.

The Telford-based business won at the annual Kia Dealer Excellence Awards which celebrate the best dealerships in the UK, covering excellent customer experience and service, with customer satisfaction, sales, online Reputation score and quick responses to customer queries all taken into account.

Gareth Theuma, Customer Experience Manager at Kia UK Limited said: “Kia had a record-setting performance in 2023 once again, with 107,765 sales, having sustainably built growth throughout the year.

"With any growth, it’s vitally important to continually raise the bar and put customers first, which I’m proud to say our dealers have done. They’ve provided a quality and consistent customer experience, whether for sales or service, for both new and returning customers.

“One of the standout dealerships this year is Furrows Kia Telford which is one of just 20 to receive our coveted Customer Experience Award certificate to celebrate its customer success throughout 2023."

The year was a noteworthy year for Kia, setting numerous new sales records and surpassing 100,000 sales for the second consecutive year. The brand finished the year as the UK’s sixth most popular, while it was also the third best-selling brand for electrified models in 2023 with 45 per cent of sales either a hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) or battery electric vehicle (BEV). The year concluded with the launch of the seven-seater fully electric EV9 – Kia’s new flagship model headlining the multi award-winning electrified range.
