The Albrighton Hall Hotel on the outskirts of Shrewsbury has been sold as part of a deal worth more than £400 million. It is one of a string of 24 hotels to be bought from Macdonald Hotels & Resorts by the Moorfield Real Estate Fund. The Grade II listed building is an 18th century country house set in 15 acres of private grounds and was redeveloped in 2005 to increase its capacity to 87 rooms.
