No jail for controlling abuser, 21, who committed two serious assaults on girlfriend in three days
A controlling abuser who committed two serious assaults on his girlfriend has avoided prison.
Matthew Tinsley, aged 21, attacked the victim on April 15 and 17 this year in Whitchurch.
He also engaged in controlling and coercive behaviour, which involved “continuing physical and verbal abuse” over more than two years from December 2022 to April this year.
