Shrewsbury shoplifter who stole booze and candle lanterns ordered to pay compensation
A thief who stole booze and candle lanterns from shops in Shrewsbury has been ordered to pay compensation.
Ashley Kitson, aged 32, targeted B&M Bargains and Matalan on Lancaster Retail Park in Harlescott when he went on a stealing spree last Friday, December 27.
In two separate thefts from B&M Bargains, Kitson took five bottles of JJ Whitley vodka, two bottles of Bankhall single malt whisky and two bottles of Gordon’s pink gin, worth a combined value of £195.
