New owners wanted for Shrewsbury's Wimpy burger shop
The chance to secure a 20-year lease for Wimpy in Shrewsbury town centre is up for grabs.
The leasehold for Wimpy on Claremont Street has gone up for sale.
The fast-food chain has been occupying the two-storey premises since it returned to the town in 2018.
Founded in the US 90 years ago, Wimpy has found great success internationally - the first UK store was opened in London in 1954. As of November 2024, 62 restaurants remain in the United Kingdom.
