Road ban for Shrewsbury driver who took cannabis before getting behind the wheel of a Fiat Punto
A motorist who took cannabis before getting behind the wheel of a Fiat Punto has been banned from the road.
Liam Thompson, aged 26, was driving in Lydham Road, Harlescott, Shrewsbury on August 7 this year.
A drug test found he had 4.8 micrograms of Delta 9 THC - the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis - per litre of blood. The legal limit, taking into account the possibility of accidental exposure, is 2mcg.
