Bonfire Night call-outs for emergency crews in Shropshire
Police and the county fire service were scrambled to a bonfire on open ground in Shrewsbury.
The emergency services were scrambled to York Road at 6.01pm on Tuesday to a report of a fire in the open.
The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew from the town's fire station to carry out a risk assessment.
A spokesperson for the fire service said a bonfire in the area was left to burn out with police supervision.
The fire service incident stop message was received at 6.36pm.
At around the same time the Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said they received a call about a fire in the open in Culmington, Telford, at 6.16pm.
A crew from Telford Central was sent to the scene.
A spokesperson said it was a small campfire measuring approximately two square metres that had been left unattended.
Crews extinguished it using one hosereel jet and sent a stop message at 6.29pm.
