Work underway to refurbish Telford swimming pool building and improve energy efficiency
It would normally be packed with swimmers but these pictures show how a Telford swimming pool looks very different while the building is closed for refurbishment work.
The swimming pool at Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre in Telford temporarily closed earlier this year.
Telford & Wrekin Council is carrying out work to the building to improve its energy efficiency.
The authority said it expect the work to be finished by summer next year.
A spokeswoman for the council explained how the plans for the building are part of aims for the authority to be carbon neutral by 2030.
