Classic car buffs wanted for TV show
DIY mechanics are being sought for the pilot episode of a new television car restoration show.
Build It, Start It, Keep It will see teams competing to rebuild a classic car in one day, with the team finishing first being allowed to keep the fruits of its labour.
Programme maker East Entertainment is looking for contestants in Shropshire and mid Wales with a passion for classic cars to put their mechanical skills to the test in a pilot edition of the show.
The company, which is working with a major TV channel, is looking for outgoing people who are up for a challenge, who have a passion for classics such as the Ford Capri, Triumph Stag or MGB GT. The contestants will need to be free for two days on the week beginning October 23.
Anybody interested in taking part is asked to email ed@eastentertainment.tv telling a bit about themselves, their potential team and why they would like to win the car.
