A crew was called to extinguish a small fire in woodland on Gallows Bank – the third such call out this month – at about 6.40pm on Monday.
The blaze follows two others on March 2 and March 10, both of which were make-shift bonfires discovered being built and lit by unknown young men.
Councillor Andy Boddington, Shropshire councillor for Ludlow North, discovered the first two fires while walking his dog along the green area on Ludlow's eastern edge, but the men ran away when challenged
Anyone with information regarding the spate of fires in the area can contact police on 101.
