Eight people had to be rescued from a lift in Ludlow.

One fire engine attended the incident in Mill Street at about 10pm yesterday.
A spokeswoman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire control received a call reporting a fire classified as lift rescue persons locked in Mill Street, Ludlow.
"One fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow. Eight people were released from lift by fire service personnel."
Crews left at about 10.18pm.
