Should security services' powers be increased after the atrocities that took place in Paris on Friday?

Lord Carlile wants the Government to get its recently-published draft Investigatory Powers Bill into law 'as soon as possible', arguing that the bill "gives our spies all the powers they need to fight terrorism" in the modern world.
Others have suggested that the proposed powers would intrude on people's privacy too much.
