Callum Best confirmed for Shrewsbury charity football match
Calum Best, the son of football legend George Best is the latest star confirmed to take part in the celebrity football match in Shrewsbury this weekend.
Best joins a line-up that already includes EastEnders' Jake Wood and Dean Gaffney, X Factor winner James Arthur, This Morning's Jeff Brazier and Towie's Dan Osbourne.
They will be taking to the pitch at The Greenhous Meadow in Shrewsbury this Sunday at 3pm to raise money for local branches of the PDSA.
Best, 34, who came third in this year's Celebrity Big Brother, admitted on the show that he had turned down the chance as to train as a professional footballer to take up modelling work instead.
Tickets for the match cost £10 for adults and £2 for under-16s. VIP packages are also available. Tickets are available from the Shrewsbury Town FC Box Office or by visiting www.pdsa.org.uk/football
Car parking at the ground will be £5.
Other players confirmed for the match include Harley from Rizzle Kicks, Tubes and Franky Fryer, of Soccer AM, Luke Friend from X Factor, Darren Everest of The Overtones and Big Reunion star Dane Bowers.
Former Shrewsbury Town stars have also been added to the line-ups with Micky Brown, Dean Spink, Darren Currie and Lee Taylor confirmed.
