Residents living in Squirrel Lane in Henley, on the outskirts of Ludlow, are trying to stop the 33-acre solar farm being built at nearby Henley Hall.

They have joined forces with fellow campaign group Save South Shropshire Countryside and CPRE to oppose the projects in the are.

The move comes as members of Save South Shropshire Countryside plan to hold a public exhibition explaining the potential impact of solar farms next week.

Peter van Duijvenvoorde, chairman of Save South Shropshire Countryside, said: "Now that the Henley solar farm application has been submitted residents along Squirrel Lane are, quite rightly, hugely concerned about its impact."

The exhibition will be held at Caynham Village Hall on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
