Newport bank robber may have travelled frrom West Midlands
A robber who stole cash from a bank in Newport may have travelled from the West Midlands to carry out the raid, police said.

. He escaped with a "significant quantity" of money, according to police.
Detective Inspector Billy Scott said: "We are following up on new information we have received from the public."
He said that while police are "keeping an open mind as to whether he's local, we are also looking at the possibility he may have travelled into Shropshire to carry out this crime from elsewhere in the West Midlands".
