60 injured in New York as trains collide in rush hour

Two commuter trains serving New York City collided in Connecticut during the evening rush hour, sending 60 people to hospital.

Governor Dannel Malloy said five were critically injured and one very critically injured, but there were no reports of deaths. The Metro-North Railroad, a commuter line, said there had been a "major derailment" near Fairfield.
