Four in court over stabbing at Newport home

Four men have appeared before Telford magistrates in connection with a stabbing at a Newport home.

Paul Martin, 19, of Hallcroft Gardens, Newport, is charged with aggravated burglary with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Jack Docherty, 19, of Laurel Drive, Newport, Nathan Drew-Evans, 19, of The Dale, Church Aston, and Jonathon Cartwright, 20, of Meadow Road, Newport, are charged with burglary and intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The case was yesterday adjourned to Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday.
