Car smashes into gas pipe

Businesses were evacuated after a car crashed into a gas main pipe at the side of a bank in Mid Wales yesterday, causing a leak.

The incident happened in Middleton Street in Llandrindod Wells at 2.55pm.

The male driver was not hurt.
