Court date for Alethea Taylor murder suspect

A 60-year-old man from near Ludlow has appeared in court accused of murdering his wife.

John Colin Taylor, of Mortimer Drive, Orleton, is charged with murdering Alethea Taylor between January 17 and 21 at Orleton.

On Saturday Hereford magistrates remanded Taylor, a funeral director, in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court tomorrow.

Mrs Taylor, 63, a former teacher, was last seen on January 19.
