Man in court over Telford sex assault

A 36-year-old Polish man today appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman on a footpath at Dothill, Wellington.

Slawomir Wilczarski, of King Street, Wellington, spoke through an interpreter only to confirm his name, age and address at Telford Magistrates Court.

He is charged with the sexual assault of a woman on January 22.

District judge Bruce Morgan remanded Wilczarski in custody, to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on February 7.
