Stephen Buttler set new separate world bests yesterday for the most clap press ups, most jump clap press ups, most bench tricep dips, most squats on a Swiss ball and most squat star jumps in a minute.
The 35-year-old of Weston-under-Lizard, near Shifnal, also smashed records for most squats on a Swiss ball in an hour, most side jumps in 30 seconds and the fastest time carrying a 100lb backpack for 100 metres.
But Guinness World Records was unable to send an adjudicator to cover the marathon feat, which also broke a record that has stood for more than 100 years for the most fitness records broken in a day. It means Mr Buttler will have to rely on video footage and personal testimonies for verification.
Mr Buttler said today: "It's a case of getting all the footage off with witness statements and covering letters, then get them verified. It could take a month to six weeks."
Damian Fields, of Guinness World Records, said: "Unfortunately we were unable to get any adjudicators to the record attempt, so we are waiting on personal confirmation from witnesses. We are waiting to speak to Steve but he is one of our best and already holds multiple world records."
Mr Buttler was also raising money for Help the Heroes campaign and Hope House hospice.
