Gang robs men in Ditherington, Shrewsbury

Two men had cash, a mobile phone and cards stolen after being attacked by a gang in a Shrewsbury street.

The two victims, aged 31 and 33, needed hospital treatment after the attack, which took place between 9.45pm and 10pm on Sunday in Whitehouse Gardens, Ditherington.

Police believe four men were involved in the assault and appealed for witnesses to come forward. Three men were arrested and are on bail while inquiries continue.
