It's past history and no discussion is going to alter it.
Parliament would be better advised in preventing takeovers of our British companies by foreign investors who, when successful, transfer the works and close down the factories, so putting our people out of work and losing the revenue that these firms provided to the treasury.
People should note the occasional picture of Parliament on TV, several times there appeared to be very few MPs discussing very important issues which affect our daily lives.
The lack of representatives who should be in attendance gives little hope to the man in the street.
