Results of abortions 'dire for all'
May I take this opportunity to remind your readers of the Christmas advert "A dog is for life, not just for Christmas".

Well, I would like to say with great conviction that "A child is for life and that life is sacred". God spoke to the prophet Jeremiah while he was a baby in the womb.
King David said: "My frame was not hidden from you when I was formed in secret. You formed my inward parts, you wove me together in my mother's womb". John the Baptist, when his mother Elizabeth was only six or seven months pregnant, "leaped for joy" in his mother's womb at the sound of Mary's greeting.
Many readers may be wondering, what has this got to do with me? I would say everything.
As a nation we have been responsible for millions of abortions and are seeking at this very time to make it even easier for anyone who doesn't want to be pregnant to simply "get rid of this inconvenience". This cannot be done without dire consequences for the nation, for families and for every individual involved.
We are made in God's image. A few short weeks after conception the heartbeat can be detected.
Medical textbooks and scientific works consistently agree that human life begins at conception. To kill a child after birth is a crime, yet what about before birth?
As a former midwife I am very passionate about setting up an organisation to help those who feel that they cannot continue with their pregnancy. If that is you or your friend or loved one then please contact PO Box 190, Muxton, Telford, TF2 2DB.
