Congratulations Shropshire Star on producing one of the most irresponsible pieces of reporting I've seen in a long time!

A front page headline, in colour, tempting the way inside to a report on fly agaric (amanita muscaria) a mushroom containing some very powerful psychotropic compounds.

Fly Agaric is poisonous as well as being hallucinogenic, eaten or used in an irresponsible way by folks who do not understand the full implications of what they are doing, can cause violent stomach retching and may even result in permanent physical damage or death.

Even though it is illegal to consume these fungi there are bound to be some who will seek them out as the source of a cheap "high".

Do we really need to inform and advertise their presence in such a spectacular way, even their location was given.

The only thing you failed to provide was a map!
