Appalled at expense

I am appalled to see that council tax payers are now to pay for North Shropshire employees to kick the smoking habit.

This is a shocking waste of public money that could be put to better use. Councillors must be out of their minds to approve such a scheme.

People wishing to quit smoking should not expect this to be done at other peoples expense. They should try determination, be strong-willed and count the cost in money and health.
