Music fans are expected to continue flocking to the Square throughout the weekend for the free event, which has been funded by the Arts Council.
There will be entertainment throughout today, including a performance by The Peter Donegan Band, featuring the son of musician Lonny Donegan.
Peter Donegan has followed in the family footsteps by forming his own five-piece band which will pay tribute to the skiffle legend from 7pm.
There is a homegrown feel to much of the entertainment on offer including a performance this evening by young virtuoso Reuben Penny who will be playing the Xylosynth for the first time in Shropshire.
The teenager from Shrewsbury will play Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor on the rare digital instrument which is a cross between a xylophone and a synthesizer.
Indie rockers The Sunshine Underground will then return for a home county show tomorrow night when they will headline at 9pm.
