Planners yesterday rejected a scheme from Nuffield Hospitals, a not-for-profit organisation, to site a mobile hospital at Bromfield, next to the Ludlow Food Centre which is currently being built. It was part of a plan by the West Midlands Strategic Health Authority to cut waiting times for minor procedures in the county. But councillors on South Shropshire District Council\'s development control committee yesterday re-fused the plans and said the location was unsuitable.
