Good way to have the last word

The editorial comment on women "having the last word" (Star November 28) could only have been spoken - sorry written by a woman.

Many women do love a good gossip and no doubt they talk about sex, babies and men. Older women will talk about men, other women, shopping and sex, but not always in that order.

Men will have intellectual conversations about more serious subjects like sex, women, football and cars.

Personally I prefer the pen as it does allow you to express your view without being interrupted.

True, many men use the phrase "yes dear" as it is the only way we can be guaranteed to have the last word.

Sadly, my wife Edna cannot speak very clearly (MS), but love can be expressed without speaking and you don't need words to say "I love you".
