Bans will do nothing
I read in amazement that Fiona Bruce has provoked a storm amongst BBC bosses, for wearing a cross while reading the News at Ten. In fact I pinched myself as I thought I was still abroad on holiday in Malta where everyone wore a cross. Even the bus drivers had crosses hanging on their buses.
First we had Christmas banned, then the Red Cross banned nativity scenes from their shop windows and now the banning of television presenters wearing a cross.
Where it is all going to end? Do these people want to see the end of Christianity in this country? If so, I for one don't. In fact Christmas will always be Christmas as far as I'm concerned.
These people who are bowing and scraping to please other people's religions should ask if this what other religions want.
I am of the opinion that all this is embarrassing genuine Muslims.
For Muslims and Christians to live and work together, we must respect each others religions and support each other in a multicultural community.
So, you people who come up with these outrageous ideas, please go away and let Muslim and Christians live in peace with respect for each other.
