Newport Shropshire Cycling Club settles into new home at Lilleshall
Newport Shropshire Cycling Club is welcoming riders of all ages and abilities to Saturday morning sessions at its new permanent base at Lilleshall National Sports Centre
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are enjoying new opportunities to develop their skills following the successful relocation of Newport Shropshire Cycling Club to Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

The club now runs regular Saturday morning sessions at the site, welcoming everyone form beginners to experienced riders looking to refine their technique and performance.
The sessions cater for a wide range of abilities and bike types, creating an inclusive environment where participants can build confidence, improve fitness and enjoy the social benefits of cycling. Whether riders are learning the basics on flat-handlebar bikes or training on drop-handlebar road bikes, the club provides expert coaching and support for all.
The move to Lilleshall has provided the club with a permanent base, allowing it to continue growing its membership and strengthening its role within the local community.
Howard Hastings, Active Communities Manager for Lilleshall, said: “Newport Shropshire Cycling Club provides fantastic opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in cycling, and we’re delighted to welcome them as a permanent part of the Lilleshall community. It’s a brilliant club that promotes wellbeing, participation and personal development, and we’re pleased to be able to support its continued growth.”

Nick Jeggo, Chairman, Newport Shropshire Cycling Club, added: "Our move to Lilleshall marks an exciting new chapter for Newport Shropshire Cycling Club. We've enjoyed the facilities for years but making it our permanent base strengthens our ambitions and opens up fantastic opportunities for our riders of all ages."
