Boss reveals when Wolves midfielder Jordan James could be back
Peixoto spoke to the Express & Star about Jordan James after the midfielder’s hamstring blow.
Cesar Peixoto is hopeful Jordan James will be available for Wolves again after the upcoming international break.
The midfielder missed Wolves’ comeback victory at Bristol City on Wednesday night with a hamstring injury, having been forced off just after half an hour of last weekend’s clash with Cardiff City.
James will also miss Saturday’s trip to Wrexham, but Peixoto hopes the 22-year-old will return for Wolves’ clash against Charlton later this month.
He told the Express & Star: “We need all of the players, and Jordan is an important player. Not only because he started the last two matches.

“He has had the right mentality that I want, wanting to play in the starting XI in my team. And, unfortunately, he is now injured.
“I think it is not too bad. I believe he will be ready after the international break. I am not 100 per cent sure, but hopefully he will start to train with us and be an option.”
The midfielder, who joined on loan from Rennes in August, has had to be patient for opportunities at Wolves.
He made only his third league start against Cardiff, with the appearance also marking the first time he had started consecutive matches since arriving at the club.
Peixoto, who experienced his own injury troubles during his playing career, admitted he felt for James.
“I was a player before and had a lot of injuries unfortunately,” the Wolves boss added.
“It is the worst feeling for a player. Any time is not a good time to have an injury.

“Whether we start to play or don’t play, injuries are the worst part of football. Being unable to train and play with the ball is the worst feeling.
“Jordan started consecutive games, but if he didn’t play it is difficult also. In this moment we have to stay together and do the job we need to get him back as soon as possible. He will play a lot of games in the future, for sure.”
