Readers have been capturing the supermoon which shone over parts of cloudy Shropshire as it came closer to Earth than at any time in almost 70 years.
When the clouds broke it appeared to be 30 per cent brighter and 14 per cent bigger than an average full moon, according to the boffins at Nasa.
