Data from online used car marketplace Auto Trader has revealed the UK’s fastest-selling used cars for June.

Petrol automatic variants of the 2015 Hyundai i30 took the top spot, taking an average of 16 days to be sold. Petrol manual variants of the same car followed in a close second, with an average of 19 days taken to leave forecourts.

The Korean manufacturer’s ix35 also made the list in fifth place, taking an average of 20 days to sell.

Hyundai was not the only manufacturer to have multiple cars on the charts, though. Nissan had two entries with petrol manual variants of the 2012 Qashqai as well as the 2015 model, both of which averaged a sell-time of 20 days.

The data also showed the majority of regions in the UK had a petrol-powered car leading the average selling times. Only East Midlands, East England, Northern Ireland and the South West saw a diesel car top the charts.

Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai UK’s president and CEO said: “I’m delighted to see that the 2015 Hyundai i30 petrol automatic was the number one fastest selling used car in June, with the i30 petrol manual derivative coming a close second place. The i30 is an attractive proposition for consumers offering a combination of quality, reliability, efficiency and high levels of standard specification. Coupled with Hyundai’s industry leading five-year, unlimited mileage warranty that’s fully transferable, it’s a great choice for those in the market for a used vehicle.”
