Despite facing the wrath of mother nature, Kim and Mike Webster's Shrewsbury garden has been named the best garden in Shropshire in Balfours' annual competition.

The couple have lived in New Street, Shrewsbury for five years, but disaster struck three years ago when a large Cedar of Lebanon tree came crashing down.

The tree took out two garden beds and almost destroyed the 100-year-old summerhouse, forcing the pair to redesign most of the plot.
