Emergency services called to crash involving car and motorcycle near Oswestry

Paramedics, the police and the fire service were called after a crash involving a car and a motorbike.

The crash took place around 7pm.

The incident took place shortly after 7pm at Chillingworth, Porth-y-waen, near Oswestry.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had sent one crew to the scene from Ellesmere.

It reported that a casualty from the motorbike was in the care of the ambulance staff.

They added officers had used a hose reel jet to cool a hot wheel and tyre on the car.
