Proposals have been drawn up to end grant funding for public toilets in the county, which would see half a million pound saved between now and 2021.

A number of toilet facilities have been transferred from Powys County Council to local councils and groups in recent years, with grants handed across to help with the running of the facilities.

However, plans put forward recently outlined its proposals to cut grant funding.

The council is in the middle of transferring certain facilities to other groups, and funding from the Welsh Government for a small amount of specified facilities would remain.

The proposals will be confirmed today unless any council members calls in a delegated decision.
