Cancer charity receives cheque from Bridgnorth Rotary Club

A Shropshire branch of the Rotary Club has presented a cheque for £2,000 to a leading cancer charity.

The president of The Rotary Club of Bridgnorth, Dermott Creece, and junior vice president Vanessa Voysey, handed over the cheque to Kate Thomas, the fundraising organiser for Macmillan Cancer Support on April 26.

The cheque followed donations for the Tree of Thought initiative run throughout the winter in Bridgnorth, along with a private donation.
