Timetable for GP surgery move in north Shropshire revealed
A £2 million project to move two GP surgeries to a town's hospital could be completed within a year.
Final plans to merge Richmond House and Bridgewater medical practices and move them to the disused Beech ward at Whitchurch Community Hospital will be drawn up by Christmas.
It is hoped the plans will be approved by NHS England in the new year.
The timetable was revealed by Julie Davies, of Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group, at a meeting of Whitchurch and Prees local joint committee at Tilstock Village Hall last night.
