Mini quakes recorded twice in Shropshire, data reveals
Earthquake experts have confirmed that Shropshire was hit by two mini-quakes in October this year.
But the good news is that were two of the millions of shakes that take place in the earth's crust around the world every year that are too small for people to feel.
The British Geological Survey data shows that Seifton, near Craven Arms, in the south of the county was hit by a 1.1 magnitude quake at 7.55am on October 30. It took place some 16 kilometres below the surface.
