"Your power may go on and off" electricity customers warned in Shropshire border cut

Up to 466 customers have been affected by an early morning power cut south of Bridgnorth this morning.

Engineers from National Grid are working on the cut which was caused by a fault on the overhead network.

The company warned that electricity supply may go on and off while they work to resolve the issue.

The incident was centred on Shatterford, just a mile over the border, but had affected a wider patch from 5.50am.

Engineers estimate that the issue will be resolved by 11.30am.
