Motorists delayed after car overturns on M54
Motorists were left caught up in delays on the M54 after a car overturned.
The accident happened at junction five, for Telford central, on the eastbound carriageway shortly after 8.30pm last night.
It involved one car but the exit slip road was closed for almost two hours for recovery work.
The smash caused delays and slow traffic on the eastbound stretch of the motorway until after 10.30pm.
Steve Parry, of West Midlands Ambulance service, said a man was treated at the scene but he had no injuries.
Pete Whitehouse, from the Central Motorways Policing Group, said: "We were called at about 8.40pm to a single vehicle incident. It was an overturned vehicle and the exit slip road was closed for safety reasons while the incident was dealt with. The road reopened shortly before 10.30pm."
