A man is set to go on trial over accusations of sexual assault on a child.

Phillip Howells, 69 and of Rectory Place, Loughbourough, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Tuesday (February 11).

Howells pleaded not guilty to two charges, both of sexual assault on a child under 13.
