Drink driver, 26, caught in rural Shropshire gets road ban and four-figure legal bill

A motorist who was caught under the influence of drink on a rural road and failed to stop for police has been ordered to pay more than £1,900.

Cameron Brown, aged 26, drove a Ford Focus on the B5063 Wem Road at Shawbury on August 24 this year.

A breath test found he had 54 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in England and Wales is 35mcg per 100ml.
