Nasty assault in Shrewsbury town centre
There was a "nasty assault" in Shrewsbury town centre on Saturday, according to police.

Officers in the town said late on Saturday (February 3) that the victim was "receiving treatment" and two "males" were taken into custody pending further enquiries.
Shrewsbury Police also thanked the Town Rangers for their "valuable assistance" in dealing with the incident.
