Lewis McAllum, who now has a place at the A Better Tomorrow project at the Parklane Centre, Woodside, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable on July 8, 2022.

Prosecutor Joanne Fox told magistrates in Telford that McAllum had donkey kicked the officer in his genitals, causing him a "great deal of pain to his [genitals]" while he was being arrested at an address in the town.

She said that he had initially complied with police and the act was more reckless than deliberate, but he was being aggressive and obstructive.

McAllum has 22 previous convictions for 38 offences including a similar matter in September 2022, magistrates in Telford were told on Tuesday.
